my why

Photography has been an interest & passion of mine since I was a young child; I always had a camera in hand. My favorite thing to do back then was walk around my neighborhood documenting anything that caught my eye, and as I got older I found my niche in live music photography. I became very immersed in that for about 8 years, before starting my business and diving into weddings & portraits. My background in music photography definitely lends a unique perspective to the images I create today. There is something magical in the ability to freeze moments in time and look back on them later.

I want to create that feeling for you!

My intent is to create authentic, natural images for you & the people you love to look back on forever. I want my sessions to feel like a fun date or a family outing. None of that stiff, awkward posing! For couples, I want to capture your love & the way you interact with one another. At family sessions, we let the kids be kids and capture real moments.

I recently made the move from my hometown of St. Louis to KC, to be with my little fam full time! Im excited for the new adventures in a different city, but will continue taking on a select number of weddings per year in STL as well. Life looks a little different these days, spending time taking care of our flock of chickens and ducks, as well as starting a garden. Enjoying the slower pace of life for awhile.
